Just about lunch time now and I find myself a little bored. This morning was bloody hot and humid as well. "tsuyu" 梅雨 (jp characters) is a tropical rain season that lasts about 3 weeks and is about to start soon. Basically, it rains every damn day and it will be very hot and very humid. I am all for it! Bring it on! Ladies, bring out the summer wear! (grin)
Some Most of the men are still wearing full suits and riding bicycles to work. What is wrong with these people? In the meanwhile, you see me walking down the street with just a nice colourful shirt and no tie. And pants of course. Japan still remains very conservative so it is VERY difficult to find any unique ties or shirts here. You have your shades of greys and mild blues and maybe pink. I am not complaining though. During the end of the season sales, I can find my sizes and they fit me well!
I digress. So I am bored at the moment. I finished some gruesome translation work last Friday. Not much of a translation as my Japanese is nowhere near being able to translate anything properly. The cool guy that assigned me the work ended up correcting and rewriting most of the stuff himself. I guess it was good practice and at least I got the most of the correct vocabulary right - from a dictionary. (sigh)
Ahh... I still have so many things to rant about and it
kills me that I don't have anyone here to listen to me bitch about them. Perhaps that's what a girlfriend is for. (censored)
